Dental Implants

Dental Implants enable you to recover the natural function of your teeth and your beautiful smile after tooth loss.

Once a missing tooth is replaced you will also be able to eat and speak as you did previously — things that people often take for granted until their natural teeth are lost.

Dental Implants are made in two parts: a very stong titanium “screw” which replaces the root of a lost tooth (unseen and under the gumline) and a tooth made of porcelain which is attached to the implant anchor. The new porcelain teeth look and function like normal teeth and are permanently fixed in the mouth.

Modern implant systems have now become very sophisticated and adaptable to many situations from single teeth to replacing a whole jaw’s worth of lost teeth.

Charles Macdonald only uses the market leading implant systems (from Europe and America) where the technology of the materials has been developed from many years of medical research.

Dr MacDonald has a Diploma in Dental Implants from the University of Sydney and has worked in a private practice both in London and Australia. At Charles Macdonald Dental you are in good hands.
